Was held in Rome the Free Workshop: “2D Hydraulics Simulations using RiverFlow2D”

On October 24^th was held at the IDRAN office in Rome the Free Workshop: “2D Hydraulics Simulations using RiverFlow2D” for professionals, researchers and students, to learn the theoretical foundations and methods of use of the RiverFlow2D Plus, the new Hydronia’s 2D finite volume hydraulic model for the development of hydrodynamic riverine and estuaries simulations for the planification, assessment and design of the territory, structures and infrastructures. The workshop, was presented by Italian lecturers with a vast expertise on hydraulics and numerical simulations, with an especial presentation by Reinaldo Garcia, president of Hydronia LLC and developer of the software, who introduced the RiverFlow2D Plus GPU (one of the fastest commercial hydrodynamic model at the moment) and the newest OilFlow2D (the new model for simulating oil spills on land and on water).
